SANCTUARY IN JAPAN FOR REFUGEES?

The Australian Government has suggested to the United States that refugees trying to leave Shanghai and unable to'get permits to go to other countries should be given sanctuary in Japan. This information is contained in a written reply by the Minister of Immigration, Mr. A. A. Calwell, to a question by a Labour member.
