POWER QUOTA EXCEEDED
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 31.
North Island electricity consumers exceeded their allocation of 32,356,000 units by 2,385,000 units, or 7.36 per cent, during the week ended on Sunday. South Island consumers used .94 per cent or 127,000 units, less than their allocation of 13,683,000 units.
