Seven-Lap Road Cycle Race
The seven-lap circuit road race of the Gisborne Amateur Cycling Club which was reported on Friday to have been arranged for Saturday, is to be held on Saturday of this week, commencing at 2 p.m. The course commences at a point on Te Hapara road in the vicinity of Atkinson street and' follows Atkinson street, Ormond road and Cameron road back to the starting point, the seven laps totalling approximately 25 miles. The open race is to be preceded by an event for novice riders between 14 and 18 years of age.
