Aust. Veterinarian For Emperor’s Horses
(11.30 a.m.) ‘SYDNEY, Aug. 30. A veterinary surgeon, Mr. F. R. Coughlin, of Tamworth, New South Wales, will leave Australia soon to become veterinary surgeon to the Royal stables of Haile Selassie at Addis Ababa. It is expected that his salary will be £SOOO (Australian) yearly. He will also act as Australian trade representative.
Mr. Coughlin was appointed on the representations of Captain K. Boghossian, Master of the Horse in the Imperial Ethiopian Government who recently visited Australia in search of horses for the Emperor’s bodyguard.
