HOUSES FROM FINLAND SUGGESTED
(P.R.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 4. Had the Minister of Works, Mr. R. Semple, considered importing prefabricated houses from Finand to relieve the existing shortage, asked Mr. M. H. Oram (Oppos., Manawatu) in a notice of question in the House of Representatives yesterday. He referred to newspaper reports that the Australian authorities had placed an order for 10,000 such houses.
