TOKYO, July 23

Under the sterling area trading plan drafted by the Japanese Board of Trade, Japan will export. 110,740,000 United States dollars worth of goods and import up to 78,140,000 dollars worth.

The plan calls for 400,000 bales of' raw cotton from India. 840,000 tons of salt from Britain and other countries, 500,000 tons of iron ore from Malaya and India, 500,000 tons of manganese ore, 50.000 tons of pig iron, 100.000 tons of coking coal, all from India, 200,000 tons of rice from Burma, 85,000 bales of wool from Australia, 20,000 bales of wool from New Zealand and from 20,000 to 25,000 bales of wool from South Africa.
