TASMANIAN ELECTION NEXT MONTH
(11 a.m.) HOBART, July 24. The Tasmanian Government decided to hold a general election on August 21. Following the deadlock over the Supply Bill, the dissolution of the House of Assembly is expected early next week. When the Government sought supply the bill was thrown out by the Legislative Council.
