30 JAP. EX-LEADERS FACE MURDER CHARGES
TOKYO, July 22.
Thirty former high-ranking Japanese Army officinb including the former Vice-Minister of War, Tasakazu Wakamotsu, have been arrested as war crimes suspects by the occupation authorities for the alleged murder of GOOO Chinese labourers, reports the Kyodo News Agency. The labourers were part of 60,000 transported from North China during the war for work in Japan.
