Woman Electrocuted By Faulty Flex On Vacuum Cleaner
CHRISTCHURCH. July 24.
Mrs. Olive Waihora Waghorn, aged 45, of Little Akaroa, Banks Peninsula, was killed by ail electric shock when she was using a vacuum cleaner at her home yesterday. Mrs. Waghorn was found dead in the pantry about 4 p.m. Artificial respiration was applied without success. An inquest was held last evening before the coroner, Mr. G. C. Riches, who returned a verdict that death was due to electrocution caused by a faulty flex in the cleaner.
