MOTU NEWS
(Herald Correspondent.) Dancers from as far away as Otoko. Koranga Valley and Matawai attended the very successful dance held by the Motu Ladies’ Guild in the Motu Hall last Saturday. The duties of M.C. were carried out ably by Mr. R. H. Twisleton. Music was supplied by Mr. H. Lenane, while extras were played by Mrs. P. Brown and Miss P. Tombleson. Supper was served by the members of the guild. The winner of a competition was Miss B. Hollis, Motuhora. Mr. and Mrs. M. TrafTord and their small son spent the week-end with Mrs. G. E. N. TrafTord, Wairoa. Mrs. H. C. Boys and Miss R. Boys were week-end visitors to Wairoa. Mr. R. S. Fisher has returned home after spending several weeks in the Cook Hospital.
