DUNEDIN WOMAN DIES AT AGE OF 102

(P.A.I DUNEDIN. July 22. The death occurred this morning of a Dunedin centenarian, Mrs. Eusan McFarlane, aged 102 She was admitted to the Dunedin Hospital three weeks ago and after a temporary improvement she relapsed yesterday. Mrs. McFarlane was born in Arbroath Scotland, and lived for a period in Perth. She arrived in New Zealand in 1878 with her husband who died many years ago. Mrs. McFarlane figured in a memorable meeting with two other centenarians, Mrs.’ Eleanor E. Nielsen. Auckland and Mrs. G. Williamson, Waikaouaiti, during the Otago centennial celebrations.
