TASMANIAN ASSEMBLY TO BE DISSOLVED

HOBART, July 22. The Legislative Council has agreed to the second Supply Bill presented by the Government on an undertaking given by Mr. T. D’Alton, Government leader in the Upper House, that Hie immediate dissolution of the House of Assembly would be sought. Today’s meeting of Parliament will be the last before dissolution. The election is expected to be held on August 28 and political observers predict a bitter campaign with a strong swing from Labour which at present is outnumbered in the Upper House and has a majority of only one in the Assembly.
