No War Jitters in America
“I didn’t see any evidence of war jitters before I left America,” Mrs. A. H. Davis, New Yorft, wno is visither home in Tolaga Bay, stated yesterday. Sufficient Woolpacks Ordered Orders for woolpacks already have been placed and accepted to give a sufficient supply to meet the requirements for the 1948-49 season, states the annual report of the New Zealand Wool Board. Because of the uncertainty of the future of the jute position, information is being sought from South Africa regarding particulars of e woolpaek manufactured there from paper and cotion. The manufacture of a material from paper and wool had been found to be impracticable under present conditions.
