WESTFIELD BEEF ENTRY SMALL: RATES IMPROVE

Fewer than average numbers of beef were penned at the Westfield stock sale yesterday. There was a keen demand, and values improved on last sale's to the extent that quotations were up by 2s per 100',b. Prices increased also for sheep, which came forward in fewer than average numbers.
An average yarding of lambs sole! readily, values being very firm. There was a keen demand tor all classes of calves. Prime vealers sold at higher rates than at late sales. A small offering of pigs made a readv sale. Pork is still at very high rates, and baron prices were firm at late rales. Prices:
