The Te Araroa R.G.S. orchestra provided the music from the stage which was tastefully decorated with the greenery. Some particularly fine costumes were seen on the dance floor- The winning prize went to Mrs. D. Hughes and Mrs. Toroa as two Maori maidens, while Miss Piper and partner wore original costumes as n pirate and a witch. The winners of the balloon dance were Mr. and Mrs. Grant. Catering for the supper was on a generous scale and poultry left over was sold at the canteen the following day, providing further funds for the club. The takings were in the vicinity of £IOO.
