MOUNTPARK TRIBUNAL DELAYED
™ A ) AUCKLAND, July 20. ' The tribunal which is to be appointed to inquire into the Auckland waterfront dispute is expected Auckland but is is unlikely that the inquiry will open till” early next week. Thursday had been tentatively fixed as the first day of the sitting but a postponement is inevitable due tod lay in the making of appointments. Witnesses have not yet been invited. No members of the tribunal have been appointed by the Minister of Labour Mr. A. McLagan, but it is expected that Chief Justice, Sir Humphrey O’Leary, will be chairman. The tribunal will include the chairman, a representative of the waterfront Industry Commission, a re P''®i sentative of the Union Steam knip Company and two representatives of the Waterside Workers’ Union. The union’s nominations of Mr. A. Drennan, Auckland, national vicepresident of the union, and Mr. T. Hill, Wellington, national secretary, have not. yet been approved.
