LIBERAL BEATS LABOUR
SYDNEY, July 19
The Liberal Party candidate, Mr. D. D. Cross, scored a clear-cut victory over the Labour candidate, Mr. H. W Oxford, in the Inkogarah by-election. The final figures are as follows: Mr. Cross 12.800, Mr. Oxford 11.964; informal 430, majority for Mr. Cross 836. The swing from Labour since the previous election 14 months ago is estimated at 6 per cent.
