RICH GOLD PATCH FOUND
MELBOURNE, May 20
At Hawke’s Nest, 10 miles west of Laverton, Western Australia, a party of half-castes has found a jar-full of specimen stone estimated to contain gold worth £2OO. They found it by following a small pipe in greenstone schist in contact with a porphyry bar. Experienced prospectors say the indications favour a rich patch of gold beias discovered. >-—' ~
