TARANAKI LEAGUE TEAM’S VICTORY
(P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, June 7. Taranaki defeated Wanganui in a representative Rugby League match at New Plymouth on Saturday by 35 points to nine. Although there were some bright back movements, the game was in the main confined to forward play in which the heavier Taranaki pack was superior.
