R.A.F. RADIO STATION BURNED ON CYPRUS

The Royal Air Force wireless station at Athalass between Nicosia Limassol, was burnt down this morning, says Reuter’s correspondent. The damage is estimated at several thousand pounds. The cause is not known. _ ... „ Tiiis is tiie second Royal Air Force (ire in -Cyprus in a week. Five thousand gallons of petrol went up in flames on May 24 at Nicosia airport where American planes were standing by to evacuate Americans from the Middle East if necessary.
