FARMERS’ AID IN LAND SETTLEMENT SCHEME
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, June 3. A committee has been appointed by the Federated Farmers to co-operate with the Land Settlement Board in the purchase and development of land for soldier settlement Its appointment arises out of an offer made by the Federated Farmers at a recent deputation to the Minister of Lands. Mr. C. F. Skinner, who stated on that occasion that he would be only too happy to have such a committee to work in close liaison with the board.
