KIWIS HARD PRESSED TO BEAT NORTH N.S.W.

The New Zealand Rugby League tourists were hard pressed yesterday to ' defeat northern New South Wales by 13 points to 7 at Armidale after the half-time score stood at 5—4 in favour of the Kiwis. For most of the second half, the home side led 7—5 and it was only in the concluding stages of the game that the Kiwis gained the lead, The New Zealanders were called upon to produce all their tricks for tiro northern team fought back doggedly.
