MR. STUART MILL, a member of the South Sea Evangelical Mission operating in the Solomon Islands, will pay a brief visit to Gisborne on Monday r.ext.
MR. T. S. GEORGE, from the inspectors’ office at Wellington of tlie Bank of New South Wales.' has been appointed to succeed Mr. W. A. Mangin as accountant of the bank's Gisborne branch. Mr. Mangin who has been 11 years in the Gisborne branch and has taken a keen interest in community affairs in this district is under notice of transfer to Edendale. Southland, and will take np his new post about the middle of .tune.
