WAR LEADER DEAD
WILLIAM S. KNUDSEN (11.15 a.m.) NEW YORK, April 27. Mr. William S. Knudsen, a former president of the General Motors Corporation, died in Detroit today.
As a lieutenant-general in charge of war production for the Army during the war he worked long hours and travelled over 250,000 miles to break production bottlenecks.
