N./..-INDIA TRADE PROSPECTS.—

Confident that increased trade between Now Zealand and India was not only possible but probable. Mr. M. S. V. Ragliaven, \ iec - president of the South India Plywood Manufacturers’ Association, returned to Sydney by air from Auckland yesterday on the first stage of his homeward journey. Mr. Raghavan came to New Zealand searching for casein for glue-making in the manufacture of plywood, which is urgently needed in India for tea chests. He said he had every reason 1o believe that a satisfactory trade agreement could be reached. His aim now was to persuade his Government to send a representative to ■ New Zealand to improve trade relationships.
