Forecast issued by the Meteorological Office, Wellington:— Situation: An anti-cyclone is moving towards New Zealand from the west. A deep depression is passing far to the north-cast of the South Island. The forecast to 5 p.m. on Wednesday is for light to moderate, westerlies predominating. Weather fine, day temperatures rising, hut inland frosts tonight. Further Outlook: Fine.
