ARMY BUILDINGS
MARRIED STAFF QUARTERS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 27. Since the end of the war housing for married personnel of various armed services establishments had received the closest attention, said the Minister of Defence, Mr. F Jones. In common with the general housing programme it had been restricted by riiortages, but authority had been given to convert suitable surplus buildings on defence establishments into temporary married quarters on a standard comparing favourably with a normal State house.
