STABLEFORD PLAY ENTRY FOR BUTTONS A representative party from the Turanganui Golf Club attended the jfficial opening day of the Park Club inks on Saturday afternoon. On the Tuai links a Bogey match was von by Mr. R. A. Clarke with a score if one up and a medal card of 84-20-64. The Stableford match conducted at :be week-end was productive of excel.ent results, as under. —W. Cotter, 35 joints (86-21-65); A. V. Nicholson, 33 (88-18-70); R. Rare, 33 (91-24-67); L. Hughes, 32 (88-18-70): C. Read. 32 (88-21-67); T. Ellis, 31 (90-21-69); E. Goodwin, 31 (88-17-71); J. Kaua, 30 <92-20-72); R. R. Robb, 30 (92-20-72); C. Hume, 80 (86-12-74). The postponed first round of the Pare Keiha Cup for ladies is to be played this week. Entries for the men's committee buttons competition close on Saturday when a draw for partners will be made, and and the first series of games arranged under the revised rules.
