TESTS OF FLYING BOAT—Tasman Empire Airways' flving-boat New Zealand is expected to return from tests in Australia this week, the company announced in Auckland yes te- day.' Captain K. A. Brownjohn operations manager, who went to Australia with the plane on April 8, advised the company that it had arrived at Sydney from Melbourne on Sunday for completion of test; and taxi’-ing trials and probably would leave for Auckland on Wednesday morning. It is possible that al least one of the flying-boats will be back in service before the Australian National Airways’ charter flight! conclude on May 9.
