CITY EXPLOSION
BUILDING ROCKED BURGLARS AT WORK MELBOURNE INCIDENT MELBOURNE, April 26. A violent explosion rocked the 12storey Albany Court building ih the heart of the city. The police believe that the blast, which occurred in the Albany Theafcrette, in the basement, was the work of burglars. The explosion wrecked the projection room, hurled a steel roller i u icv< across Collins street, burst open a similar door at the back of the threatre 100 feet away, smashed windows and leadlights and blew a large vacuum cleaner out of the building and high into tne air to fall in Collins street. Firemen found the projection room ablaze but extinguished the fire in quick time. Nobody was injured. z
