RAMILLIES REFLOATED
RAN ON TO SANDBANK LONDON, April 23. The 31,000-ton battleship Ramillies went aground on a sandbank in Loch Ryan, Wigtownshire, while on her way under tow to the shipbreakers. A later message states that the Ramillies which has a skeleton crew of 16 aboard, came off the sankbank with the tide and is now making steady progress.
