EPIDEMIC CONTINUES
CASES IN NEW PLYMOUTH (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH, April 26. Two patients in New Plymouth were diagnosed as positive cases of poliomyelitis during the week-end. One is a four-year-old boy and the other a 14-year-old girl. Cases reported in the Taranaki health district since Novemoer now total 50. HAWKE’S BAY CASE (.P.A.) HASTINGS, April 26. A positive, but not yet serious, case of poliomyelitis has been admitted to the Napier Hospital. The patient is a 23-year-old European male from Bridge Pa. This makes the thirteenth positive case in Hawke's Bay since the epidemic started.
