MATAWHERO TREND MEDIUM-TYPE SORTS NO QUALITY FAT SHEF.P A hardening tendency for store lambs was evident at the Matawhero stock sale yesterday and that was particularly noted in the pens of medium quality. Store wethers sold well and there was a demand for lines of wellformed breeding ewes with sound mouths. The yarding totalled 1783 and there was a good attendance of buyers. Shorn wether lambs made from 13s 6d to 22s 2d and ewe lambs up to 18s. Ewe lambs in the wool realised up to 24s 2d. Two-tooth wethers made up to 335. Breeding ewes sold well at up to 265.
