SLOOP REFLOATED
STRANDED 10 DAYS ADELAIDE, April 22. The naval survey sloop H.M.A.S. Barcoo, which went aground near Glenelg during a hurricane on April 11, was refloated in heavy seas. The towing operation was done by the naval sloop H.M.A.S. Warreco which drew the Barcoo down a channel that had been prepared by a dredge. The Barcoo entered Port Adelaide under her own steam.
