RAPID AIR SUPPORT
R.A.F. DEMONSTRATION FLIGHT TO SINGAPORE (11 a.m.) LONDON, April 21. Six Royal Air Force Lincoln bombers and supporting transport aircraft will leave Britain next Wednesday for Singapore on an exercise designed to show that the R.A.F. can provide at short notice a striking force on • the other side of the globe. The squadron will spend eight days in Ceylon in exercises and will reach Singapore on May 9. It will return to Britain about a month later.
