MILK RATION INCREASED
LONDON, April 20. The Minister of Food, Mr. J. Strachey, announced an increase in the non-priority milk allowance from two and a-half to three and a half pints a week for each person as from next Sunday because of the seasonal rise in production. Dried milk and proprietary infant foods from Sunday will be available only to children under 12 months instead of two years as at present.
