POLIOMYELITIS STUDY
N.Z. DOCTOR RETURNS (P.A.) AUCKLAND, April 20. Sent to the United States to investi gate the modern treatment for poliomyelitis, Dr Walter Robertson, Wellington, returned from San Francisco today. “My visit was well worth whilewonderful,” he said. “Anything I learnt will be passed on through the department to which 1 am reporting. ”1 prefer to say nothing more. It is a very contentious subject and I don't want to raise false hopes." Dr. Robertson spent three months in the United States. For three weeks he was at the Kenny Institute. He visited New York, Washington, Chicago, Baltimore and California.
