Submissions made this morning lor ■he Price Control Division by Mr. .1 Lewin at the hearing by the Price tribunal of an application by the New v.ealand Paint Manufacturers’ Federation for authority to increase the prices of ready mixed paint, stated that the increases should be allowed subject, however, to "one critical condition . I hat all members of the Paint Manufacturers' Federation should forthwith show with reference to their financial accounts and costing data why the prices for their other products should not immediately be reduced in price.
