AGREEMENTS WITH U.S.
MR. NASH IN WASHINGTON TRADE, TAXES, EDUCATION (11.40 a.m.) WASHINGTON, March 15. A proposed treaty of commerce and navigation between the United States and New Zealand, a convention on the question of double taxation, and the operation of an educational exchange programme are among the subjects being discussed by the New Zealand Minister of Finance, Mr. W. Nash, in interviews with State Department officials here today. The discussions will proceed all day with a brief interval only for an official State Department luncheon to Mr. Nash, at which the assistant Secretary of State, Mr. N. Armour, will be the host.
