ROWING ABANDONED
INTERPROVINCIAL EIGHTS (P.A.) WANGANUI, March 15. Official advice has been received that the Otago Rowing Association has abandoned the interprovincial eightoar race lor the Halliburton Johnstone Bowl which was to have been rowed in Dunedin on Easter Monday. The Southland crew, it is reported, which with Wanganui and Otago would have comprised the only competitors in the race has been scratched, and Otago is not prepared to run the race for two crews only.
