OTAGO 113 FOR FIVE

MATCH AGAINST FIJI (P.A.) DUNEDIN, March 13. Otago began a three-day match against Fiji this morning at Carisbrook and batted first on a fast wicket. Runs came freely after L. Watt had been dismissed when the total was 27. Both J. O’Sullivan' and R. T. Hunt batted aggressively and boundaries were frequent. Hunt was dropped by Raddock. the wicket-keeper, off Isoa’s bowling, but the batsman then began to score with some lovely strokes. Isoa was the best of the three bowlers used. Otago at 2.15 p.m. had scored 113 for five wickets (Hunt 39, O'Sullivan 21).
