THREE TITLES WON
HIGH SCHOOL SWIMMERS JUNIOR GIRL CHAMPION Winning all three swimming events and taking third place in the diving competition, Patsy Morrison won the junior girls’ championship of the Gisborne High School in the annual contests held on Friday. Her total of 10 points showed a margin of 4 over that of the runner-up, Marie Kendrew. who won the diving event and took two secdnd places and a third in the swimming races.
Lack of training and coaching through the restrictions imposed during the infantile paralysis epidemic caused the curtailment of the customary swimming sports programme, the championships events only being held.
