FALL IN STERLING
RESERVE BANK FIGURES Arresting the steady increase in the sterling funds of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand a fall of £535,574 to £NZ72,628.720 is shown in the bank’s latest return for the week ended March 3. After being reduced to their lowest level for nearly three years at the beginning of the year, the sterling funds have recovered steadily until this check. , , . The note issue shows a slight rise of £482,221 to £49,176,520.
