British travellers from Haifa report that the Arabs have built 100 miles of road blocks and other defences. They have erected a concrete wall around Nablus where they are checking the identity of all travellers. A Jewish Agency spokesman told journalists that Jerusalem Jews would search all cars, including diplomatic vehicles, entering Jewish zones. Arab guerrilla headquarters in Northern Palestine have announced that military courts will sentence to summary execution by hanging Arabs selling food to Jews. The United States Consulate was today when officials were warned ' that the building would be bombed.
Arab snipers fired at a Jewish bus, killing two passengers, at the southern end of the Sea of Galilee and wounded several Jews near Maanit, a settlement between Tel Aviv and Haifa.
