COAST CLUB TENNIS

PLAY IN DOUBLES (Herald (Jorresismdent.) In a tennis match confined to doubles played at Mokonui between Waiapu and Mokonui, the latter won by 21 sets to 13. Time did not permit of singles play and a few extra sets of mixed doubles were played instead. For Waiapu, Mr. Geo. Ncpia expressed appreciation of the benefit of the matches between the clubs and said that they were particularly helpful to young players. Mr. Harold Puha, the Mokonui club captain, welcomed the Waiapu players and thanked them for an enjoyable day. He also thanked the lady supporters of the Mokonui club who served refreshments.
