SOVIET CONCESSION
GERMAN ASSETS TALKS (9 a.m.) LONDON, March 10. The three Western Powers’ representatives at the Foreign Ministers’ deputies’ conference on the disposal of former German assets in Austria declared at a meeting today that they were willing to move forward if the Soviet Union delegation first made plain that the Soviet proposals were not final but subject to modification. M. Koktomov, the Soviet representative assured the meeting that his delegation would not insist on “the very letter of the Soviet Union’s proposals,” and on that assurance the meeting adjourned until tomorrow.
