WORK ON PLANES
(P.A.) AUCKLAND, March 12. Although modifications to the aircraft ■of Tasman Empire Airways are proceeding satisfactorily, the work is taking longer than anticipated. A definite date for the resumption of the flying-boat service could not yet be given, said the company’s general manager, Mr. G. N. Roberts. Daily charter flights by Trans-Aust-ralian Airlines’ Skymasters, he said, had been arranged for the period from March 16 to 24.
