At a meeting of the Forburv Park committee in Dunedin last night" it was decided that the Centennial Cup be open to horses assessed at 4.21 or faster. Horses assessed at 4.22 will be eligible, but will be handicapped as though assessed at 4.21. The principal event on the second day will be the Pacing Free-For-All, of £2OOO, 11 furlongs, open to horses assessed at 2.59 or faster. On the first day trotters will be catered for with a free-for-all of 13 furlongs for horses assessed a 3.43 or faster.
