AUCKLANDER'S BEQUEST LARGE SUM SET ASIDE (P.A.) AUCKLAND, March 11. A bequest under the will of the late Mr. H. S. Dadley, Auckland, whose estate was valued at about £IOO,OOO at the time of his death in 1933, has now become available in the form of a trust fund to provide a home for crippled children in Auckland.
This was announced by the Public Trust Office following the death of Mr. Dadley’s widow on Tuesday. After providing for various bequests Mr. Dadley’s will directed that the residue of his estate should be set aside upon the death of his widow as an endowment fund for the establishment and maintenance of a home for criopled children. The exact sum that will be available is not known, but it will be large.
