A Proctor aircraft made two return trips from Hastings with passengers, while another Proctor machine, which arrived from Nelson on Friday night, left at mid-day on Saturday with passengers for Masterton. A Harvard machine was another visitor, while a Tiger Moth aircraft owned by the Messrs. James Brothers, made several journeys from Gisborne to Tolaga Bay. National Airways’ machines from the north and south were also handled, while club flying with the two machines of the Gisborne Aero Club was in progress.
